Network-Based Services
We believe that healthcare provider networks should offer a clear value-proposition to a given health plan’s, or payer’s, total network composition. As such, Carenodes network composition is characterized by a network of providers who have been carefully vetted and screened for quality performance indicators. In 2020 alone, the network has grown across several markets.
Provider Contracting
Carenodes is the delegated authority acting on behalf of providers burdened by the present multi-payer, disjointed, and cumbersome way we’ve been, as an industry, running payer/provider operations.
In partnership with providers (medical and non-medical, behavioral, primary, substance abuse, and others), we have developed (and are growing) community-wide coalition efforts geared towards addressing larger systemic health, infrastructure or social determinant issues with a large impact on health. Per Mr. Baackes, LA Care CEO, resulting in “one good solution that solves many problems”. Notwithstanding, we understand that the continuum of care requires alignment across entries — each with varying processes. And that ‘alignment’ cannot occur in a vacuum separate from top-line flow of funds (contracted payer network). Yet, attempting to ‘align’ with payers consists of heavy-lifting by providers, taking time and resources away from patient care.
To ease this burden and move towards a more modern, standardized, and digitized system of payer/provider operations, we have formed a grassroots initiative to take some of that burden off of our providers (especially safety-net) and allow them to actually conduct the clinical, preventive, and outreach work expected of such providers.
